Board of Director Elections
Here’s how it works (in a nutshell) . . .
A current, non-board member, not seeking election, will coordinate the election. This is a volunteer/appointee.
Starting January 1st every year, all five positions are open for nominations. This closes on January 31st.
If the current Board Members all want to stay (all accept nomination) and no other people are nominated or accept the nomination, then there is no election and the current Board continues for another year.
If there are any other nominations, and the people accept (more than one person for each office); for the first couple of weeks of February, the candidates can send out information if they choose.
If an office is vacant, the Board can appoint someone to fill that role for the remainder of that term.
The election, if needed, will occur during the February Business Meeting. The new Board Members will take over during that meeting.
