What: Save The Manatee Walk
Place: Foster Golf Links, 13500 Interurban Ave S, Tukwila, WA 98168
Date: Sunday, August 30, 2026
Time: 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
Details: We’ll meet at the Golf Course at 10:30 am and walk north along the Green River Trail and back to reach our 5K distance. This is a flat paved trail. After our walk, we’ll have lunch at the new Pasifika Restaurant at the Golf Course.

Registration: You’ll need to get registered now in order to get your t-shirt, race number and medal, if you want them. You can also register without getting any swag. It’s up to you!
Online Registration Instructions:
~ Go to… https://savethemanatee.org/save-the-manatee-5k/
~ Click on the “Register” button.
~ Scroll down and pick one of the “Virtual 5K” Sign-Ups.
~ Fill out the form and make sure the correct “Event” is selected.
~ At the bottom of the form where it says “Would you like to join or create a Group/Team?”, be sure to select “Yes”, then click “Continue”.
~ Fill out the “Waiver” and click “Continue”.
~ Select “Join and Existing Group/Team”. Select: “Parrotheads of Puget Sound“. Fill in the group password: Bubblesup when prompted. Then click “Continue”.
~ Follow the next few prompts and click “Continue”.
~ Choose whether to contribute to their fundraiser and click “Continue”.
~ Decide on extra merch and click “Continue”.
~ Choose to sign up for email, choose your time zone (PHoPS is in “America/Los_Angeles (-0700) – [Pacific Time]” and click “Continue”.
~ Complete your registration on the payment page.

It was founded by the late renowned singer-songwriter, author, and entrepreneur Jimmy Buffett, and former U.S. Senator Bob Graham when he was governor of Florida. The Club’s mission is to protect manatees and their aquatic habitat for future generations. The club does this by protecting and recovering manatee habitat, reducing harassment of manatee by humans, either divers or boaters; and ensuring that sufficient regulatory protections have been adopted and are supported by a broad constituency to accomplish these goals for the present and foreseeable future.
